In early 70s a professor of SATL (Wroclaw), a cooperator in making performances of Wroclaw Puppet Theatre, also an actress of Warsaw Theatres LALKA and Fraszka, a cooperator with TV. Annette Dabs Born in Luebeck, Germany. Exchange student in Seattle, USA. Graduated in Opera-Directing from the Highschool of Music and Drama in Hamburg. Director-assistant for opera and drama (e.g. Peter Zadek). Directed opera and drama in different theatres in Germany. Studied Cultural Management. Personal assistant of the Head of Department of Culture in Kassel. General Manager of a private theatre in Essen. Since 1997 General Manager and Artistic Director of “Deutsches Forum für Figurenthater” in Bochum (e.g. publisher of magazine "double"). Artistic Director of international festival FIDENA. Vice-President of the German ITI (International Theatre Institut). Vice-President of World-UNIMA (Union Internationale de la Marionnette). Bearer of the “Ring of Honour” of the City of Bochum.
David Burman
David Burman Art Director and Director of the Kemerovo Oblast drama theater Lunacharsky. Marek Waszkiel
Marek Waszkiel PhD., historian, critic, since 1977 he is the permanent professor of history of puppetry at the Theatre Academy in Warsaw, where in 1999-2005 he was the vice-rector, responsible for the Puppetry Art Department in Bialystok. In 2005-2012 he was the general and artistic director of the Bialystok Puppet Theatre. In 1977-2005 he worked for the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, as a researcher of the history of puppetry art and the editor of "Theatrical Diary" (Pamiętnik Teatralny), then the editor-in-chief of the Biographical Dictionary of the Polish Theatre. Simultaneously, since 1977 he was a member of the board of directors of POLUNIMA, member of the executive committee of UNIMA in 1996-2004 and 2008-2012 again, the chairman of the UNIMA Communication and Publication Commission (1996-2000), the chairman of the UNIMA Training Commission (2000-2004 and 2008-2012 again). He published many studies on puppetry in Poland, as well as many articles about puppet theatre in all over the world. His most important books are The History of Puppet Theatre in Poland (till 1945), Warsaw 1990 and The History of Puppet Theatre in Poland 1944-2000, Warsaw 2012. He is the editor of some series concerned the Polish puppet artists and the historical and theoretical aspects of puppetry. He co-operates with many puppet theatres, puppetry schools and festivals in several countries as a puppetry art consultant.
Bartek Miernik
Bartek Miernik Thirty years old man, an editorial secretary of a magazine Teatr. Born in a village in Podkarpacie, studied in Warsaw. A graduate of theatrology in Warsaw Theatre Academy. During his studies, he was a scholar of Minister of Culture (2004/05). He has worked on several theatre festivals. An author of reviews, interviews and essays wrote to Teatr, Scena and ballettanz. An owner of a sponge colour Labrador named Prada, with which he often walks at the river bank.
He is interested in dance theatre, puppet theatre, and acts from the borderline of theatre and plastic arts.
