Adaptation of seven stories derived from the Masnavi-ye Manavi about life, faith, freedom, miracles, biblical and certain other characters. Masnavi-ye Manavi is the masterwork of Iranian poet and sufi mystic Jalāl ad-Dīn Muḥammad Rūmī. In “A Small Green” we meet a cow gifted with ability to speak, in „Umar & The Harpist” an old harpist receives a second life chance. The main character of “The Parrot and the Merchant” is a clever, imprisoned parrot which feigns death to gain freedom. In the last story of “Moses & The Shepherd”, Moses the Prophet learns on his own mistakes and apologizes to the shepherd. Each one of the stories contains an important, divine message for the charmed audience.
